WEB VR

Since my initial experience with the Oculus Rift I have decided to try my hand at WebVR.  What is WebVR? The ability to make Website into virtual reality experiences.  Now I should preface this with VR is pretty new, and WebVr is very new, a lot of the demos and experiences are still just getting off the ground and the bugs have not all been squashed.  WebVR is made up of many moving parts, but mostly it is the new WebVR API for tracking your “Head Mounted Display” and WebGL to render a 3d image to the screen. If you’re interested in learning more about WebVR I would recommend taking a look at AFRAME, a JavaScript framework that puts a lot of the WebVR puzzle together for you.  I will be putting up some of the experiment I’ve been doing with the framework in the next few weeks.
